My Story of an Unfortunate Event.
Thursday, 20 December 2012
It was the day of Sunday, October 14th 2012.
It was a calming evening at The Publika, Mont Kiara.
An event was held at the place called the square.
I've known later that the event was called churpout organized by churpchurp.
It was happening as we can called it nowadays.
I noticed that many people participated in the events
As there are many novelty games that we can only see in movies.
I was there with my team to promote the awareness of the diabetic friendly movement
As well as diabetic friendly food products.
Our intention is to bring this idea to the minds of these people.
The idea of a low calorie food products.
On that day, one of the rides intrigues me which is the mechanical bull.
Being an adventurous person, I wanted to try it. So I sign up and proceed to the ride.
When I was in the ride, my teammates was there to cheer me up.
As the rides was going, it was rather turbulent but I kept on going.
However, at one moment, I realized I fell down.
I felt a sharp pain in my lower back.
It felt intense and I couldn't move.
I screamed for help and one of the staff members came to my aid.
Soon after, I realized I was in a Hospital, walking through a wheelchair.
It was fun at first but i imagine what life would be
When one was in it for a lifetime.
A few days later, the organizers set up a meeting between me and my family
So they apologizes, telling us its a mistake and are learning from all of this.
Above all, I do hope that by writing this,
I would become the last person to be a victim in this circumstances.
I may be lucky to have survive this.
God knows, I could become wheel chaired but I didn't. Thank god.
I may be lucky this time but others may wont.
God allows, I do hope to live long enough to keep on spreading the idea of what we do..
So we can take something from this and make ourselves better in the future.

#ChurpOut 2012
Thursday, 22 November 2012
On October 14th, we went to this event called ChurpOut at The Publika. We arrived quite late because we went to Malaysia Cocoa & Chocolate Day fest just before that. There were tons of fun activities and also performance but due to the rain we didn't manage to participate in most of the activities.
I got a chance to met a beauty guru on Youtube MsBeautyMarkTV. Like her FB page at http://www.facebook.com/JulianaZALookBooth?fref=ts and watch her videos at http://www.youtube.com/msbeautymarktv
Met more supporters!
When Anas tried to ride the rodeo bull, he fell on the naked floor where it is not covered in padding and laid on his back side. He was not able to stand on his own due to the pain. There were bruises and scratches on his back. It took a while for the organizer to deal with this emergency as they were not ready with any emergency cases. After almost 30 minutes, the ambulance finally came and took him to the nearest Hospital that is HKL.
After the X-ray of his back bone.
We were very dissapointed on the carelessness of the person in charge of that game. It could have been worst. They should have been more responsible and be prepared with emergency aid such as the red cross team or ect. Thankfully Anas was okay. He only suffered with a minimal injury on his back. The doctor suggested that he should rest at home for a few days.
