For the past few months, Youth Movement of Koperasi Diabetes has initiated an effort to collect 1000 petitions from the public. These petition will be our evidence of letting the society know that there are others who care about changing Malaysians way of life and become healthier. We went all over Klang Valley to get signatures for the petition and went to various events so that people would notice us and our initiative.
One of the event that we went to was World Halal Research Summit & MIHAS on the 4th & 5th April at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Koperasi Diabetes managed to get one exhibition booth on the event day and the response we got from the public was pleasantly surprised. We got them to try some of the Stevia based product and also distribute flyers and explain about what we are championing on.

We managed to collect around 400+ signatures on the World Halal Research Summit & MIHAS event and most of the ones we approached were youth between 18-25 years old. Glad that most of them were very supportive towards the "Say No To Diabetes" campaign. After few gruelling weeks, we, the Youth Movement of Koperasi Diabetes managed to collect 1000 petitions from the public and with that we can start our first step towards our goal, TO MAKE A CHANGE!
